I purchased the Billet Cap to be used with the bolt on filler neck which is going to be used in the new location of my fuel filler inside the trunk on my 56 Mercedes-Benz 230 SL. I chose it because of the outstanding service I have had from the identical cap I purchased and have been using on my 23 Ford Roadster Pick up I built 17 years ago. It is easy to screw on and off without cross threading and it looks and seals great.
