    Good quality hose for recreating custom formed hose

    Strong yet flexible hose. Good quality. Used this to make a custom shaped filler hose in place of a factory hose that is no longer availabe. Replaced hose with 2 45 degree angles on either end used to make a jog around obstacles under car. Used 2 of these along with a stainless steel coupling to recreate non available original hose. Great resource when replacing custom shaped hose in older cars where the OEM part and equivalent aftermarket part are not available. Got my car back on the road with a professional quality repair.

    I purchased a hose with a 45 deg bend in it specifically so that I would not have a hose that is kinked. The hose was folded in half at the bent in order to fit into a smaller box. As of yet, the bend has not relaxed and is still overly prone to kinking over and restricting flow. I will have had to add an additional clamp at the bent to keep it open. I will be trying to apply some heat to see if it will relax back into shape. Extra stuff to make it work is not why I spent over $30 on a hose.
